Bryant Harris joins Rite Aid as chief merchandising officer

PHILADELPHIA—Rite Aid announced Thursday that Bryant Harris has joined the company as senior vice president and chief merchandising officer.

The company announced that Harris will be vital in shaping its merchandising strategy, ensuring a top-notch product range that adapts to customers' evolving demands. He will be responsible for managing product assortment, procurement, pricing, visual merchandising, and store design, collaborating closely with the store operations and marketing teams to create customer-focused shopping experiences in the communities the chain serves.

Harris will join the company’s executive leadership team and report to Schroeder. Before coming to Rite Aid, he was the chief merchandising officer at Wakefern Food Corporation, where he crafted and implemented a strategic roadmap that greatly improved the company’s merchandising effectiveness and overall performance. Harris has nearly 20 years of extensive retail experience focused on growth, innovation, and operational excellence from significant leadership positions at Save A Lot and Sam’s Club.
